Stumps gone, space back.
We use an advanced Bandit stump grinder to deal with large, unsightly stumps and accessible root balls. It is powered by a petrol engine and grinds to a depth of just under half a metre.
Stump grinding is usually quicker, cheaper and less intrusive than digging the stump out, and it is gentler and more eco friendly than root poisoning.
Why remove the stump?
Removing a stump removes a trip hazard, reduces the chance of regrowth, removes a potential termite nesting site and improves the look of your yard.
Grinding produces wood chips you can use as mulch. If you don't want them, we'll take them away. Stumps affected by disease or honey fungus can't be used as mulch.
