Before we prune, Leon or a team member identifies the species and assesses the tree's health. Our pruning is performed in accordance with AS 4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees.

Pruning is a less severe form of lopping. A pruned tree is nurtured to stimulate future growth, while lopping usually involves major tree work for safety or clearance.

We're certified to provide tree lopping across the Canberra region and licensed to use an elevated work platform, also known as a cherry picker.

Many large Canberra trees are covered by the Tree Protection Act 2005 and can't be lopped without permission. We check the ACT Tree Register and whether a tree is regulated before we start.

Do I need permission to remove a tree in Canberra?

Possibly. Under the ACT Government's Tree Protection Act 2005, regulated and registered trees need approval before they can be removed or lopped. Trees with a height or crown width of 12 metres or more are usually regulated. We can help you check, and provide an arborist report to support your application.

How much does tree removal cost?
